Tintilla Semillon makes NSW Top 100

James Halliday has announced his top 100 NSW wines under the collaborative entity NSW Uncovered. Our 2011 Semillon with a score of 94 has made the list which makes it one of the 33 Hunter Valley wines (up from 21 last year) to make the top 100. The next best region is Orange (15) followed closely by Canberra (13) and Mudgee (12). Tintilla Estate Angus Semillon $26

Tintilla wins a Trophy again

Last night (15/9/2011) the winners of the Hunter Valley Boutique wine show were announced with Tintilla taking home 10 medals and a Trophy for our 2005 Merlot. Congratulations James, this was James's first vintage as chief winemaker. 

Tintilla wins Gold

We are excited to announce that our 2003 Semillon has won a gold medal at the Hunter Valley Wine Show. The wine is one of the first vintage wines to win under screw cap with comments of 'outstanding, purity and complexity.

Tintilla rates as a 5-star winery

James Haliday's Australian Wine Companion 2012 edition has once again rated Tintilla Estate as a 5-star winery. Stand out tastings this year Semillon 2010 and 2005 both rating 94 points. Check out Tintilla's listing and other winery's @ www.winecompanion.com.au.
